Captain Logan Beal

Captain Logan is our charter fishing Captain and our fishing team Captain. After graduating from the University of Florida, he decided to follow his passion – fishing. He grew up fishing in Bradenton, FL and spent the summers traveling around Florida and the Bahamas with his family fishing tournaments. He has fished tournaments on the east coast from Stuart, south throughout the Keys and up the west coast of Florida all the way to Steinhatchee.

Captain Barry Shepherd

Captain Barry is the owner of Outta Line. Barry grew up in Florida fishing the Indian River and Sebastian Inlet with his two brothers and father all the way down to Fort Lauderdale. He has passed down his knowledge and appreciation of the ocean on to his two sons and enjoys watching them become better anglers. Barry is also known to have caught more jack crevelle than any other man alive.

Captain Josh Shepherd

Captain Josh was known to have a fishing pole in his hand ever since he could walk. Josh grew up fishing the offshore waters of South Texas before moving on to the waters of Southwest Florida. His passion is offshore artificial trolling and perfecting the lure spread he also has a habit of accidently catching fish on oversized tackle such as sailfish and tarpon on 80lb gear. When Josh is not fishing you can find him watching the Dallas Cowboys on Sundays, working, or practicing his 'superfly' dance moves.

First Mate Andrew Wilson

Andrew has been fishing SW Florida for four years and the Gulf of Mexico for twenty. He has acquired numerous top ten finishes in both inshore and offshore tournaments. Andrew has fished with many top captains including his father in Texas who taught him many tricks of the trade.

Angler Justin Shepherd

Justin has been fishing with the Outta Line team since its inception. Enjoying trolling, Justin is often perched in the cockpit ready to grab the rod before the fish hits. Having refined his form over the past few years has increased his desire for larger sportfish. Justin is looking forward to his first full summer of fishing after receiving his Master's Degree from the University of Georgia.

Angler Stephen Lane

Stephen has been fishing since he was a little boy in Oklahoma. When he was 13, he got his first taste of offshore fishing and caught a big bull dolphin. Every since then he has been hooked. Often fishing in the Gulf of Mexico out of Texas, he recently migrated to SW Florida where he continues his passion for fishing. Stephen loves everything about being an angler. In his mind, the harder they pull the better. He also loves to scuba dive, free dive and enjoys the challenges of spear fishing and lobster season.
